I am not next Shakeela – Sona Heiden clarifies about ‘Pacha Manga’ trailer

Actress Sona Heiden made her debut in Thala Ajith’s ‘Poovellam Un Vaasam’ and has acted in several films including Vijay’s ‘Shahjahan’, ‘Mirugam’, ‘Kuselan’, ‘Yamirukka Bayamey’ and others.  Her most famous role is as the sister of M.S. Bhaskar and lover of Vivek in ‘Guru Enn Aalu’ and her comedy scenes are oft-repeated on television channels.

Sona has acted in a new Malayalam movie titled ‘Pacha Manga’ in which she has played the wife of veteran actor Pratap Pothen.  The trailer of the film has been released and it contains bedroom scenes for Sona which has made certain sections of the media to speculate that Sona is the new Shakeela in Malayalam soft porn films.

Sona Heiden has clarified that “Pachamanga is a film with an emotional content made on the classic lines of Balu Mahendra sir’s touch. Just looking into my costumes, many have assumed that I have played a glamorous role, which is untrue. I have just replicated the way women dress in Kerala and haven’t crossed any limits.

Therefore, I request not to spread such rumours that I am playing such roles. This is a good film with unique theme and so will be my character, which audience will agree after watching the movie,”.
