NTR Visits U.S. Consulate in Hyderabad, Hints at U.S. Schedule for ‘Dragon’

Tollywood star NTR Jr. paid a special visit to the U.S. Consulate in Hyderabad today, where he was warmly welcomed by U.S. Consul General Laura Williams. The actor interacted with her during his visit, and soon after, she shared pictures from the meeting on Twitter.

Taking to social media, Laura Williams wrote: “Excited to welcome @tarak9999 to the Consulate! His recent & upcoming projects filmed in the United States showcase the power of partnership, creating jobs, and strengthening ties between India & the United States.”

Her message has sparked speculation that NTR might soon travel to the U.S. to shoot key portions of his upcoming film ‘Dragon’, directed by Prashanth Neel.

Currently, the big-budget action drama, produced by Mythri Movie Makers, is being shot in Hyderabad. NTR is sporting a rugged, full-bearded look for the role, which has already caught fans’ attention. While the makers have not made an official announcement about the heroine, reports suggest that Rukmini Vasanth will be playing the female lead opposite NTR.

Adding to the excitement, music director Ravi Basrur, in a recent interview, revealed that the background score of ‘Dragon’ will be even more gripping than his work for KGF and Salaar. He also mentioned that he recently became a fan of NTR after watching his films, further heightening expectations around the project.

With an international shoot on the horizon and massive hype already surrounding it, ‘Dragon’ is shaping up to be one of the most-awaited films in NTR’s career.
