Nithya Menen explains controversy with producers

Just a few days ago, accusations were rife that Nithya Menen has insulted a few film producers, and that several Malayalam film producers have had plans to ban her from acting in Malayalam films.

The versatile actress has now opened up on what happened. Reportedly, when the actress was shooting for a Malayalam movie, she got to know that her mother was diagnosed with cancer (third stage).  Nithya, who has had migraine issues for long, seems to have found it hard to take it.  

During the shoot of her movies, she often had aches due to migraine. Besides, thoughts of her mother made her cry, and at such a time, several producers came to meet her without an appointment.  She reportedly requested them to meet her later as she was not in good health, but the producers projected her as an egoistic person who refused to talk to them. 

“I am not egoistic but they are,” says Nithya, adding that she later understood there is no point in worrying about such people.
