A few days back we had reported that the Hindi dubbing and satellite rights of Thala Ajith's upcoming film 'Vivegam' has been purchased by the Mumbai based Manish Sharma of Goldmine Telefilms for a huge price. Now the same firm has purchased the Hindi dubbing and satellite rights of Ilayathalapathy Vijay's upcoming film temporarily referred as 'Thalapathy 61'.
Sources reveal that the Goldmine Telefilms have purchased the Hindi dubbing and satellite rights of 'Thalapathy 61' by a paying the highest price for a non-Rajini film. The amount is allegedly Rs.10.8 crores.
'Vivegam' is scheduled to hit the screens in August while 'Thalapathy 61' will be hitting the screens for the Diwali festival season in October 2017.
The patronage for the Hindi dubbed versions of Tamil films with big starers have increased leaps and bounds in the recent years. This trend slowly catching up as a new business avenue for Tamil film producers.
