MrBeast has said he paid detectives to investigate claims against Ava Kris Tyson, his former co-host, who allegedly groomed a minor. Tyson, on MrBeast's staff since 2012, has refuted these allegations but agreed to quit the project.
MrBeast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, recently voiced his contempt over the claims in a statement and said he has been trying to guarantee a comprehensive inquiry. He said he just learned of these charges, which surfaced last month online, just in recent days.
MrBeast said, "I find such abominable conduct repulsive and opposeable. To be sure I have all the information, I have been especially focused on appointing an independent third party to do a comprehensive research. Emphasizing that he supports no inappropriate behavior, he has already acted to remove Tyson from his company and channel.
Tyson has admitted prior behavior, that she's working on bettering herself and that her earlier humor was wrong. Denying the grooming claims, she called the charges a misrepresentation of her past actions.
The person claimed to have received Tyson's communications has defended herself, stating internet depictions are untrue and there was no exploitation involved.
With 306 million subscribers, MrBeast, the most-subscribed YouTuber in the world, keeps his attention on his material and philanthropic activities like his food brand Feastables and the forthcoming reality competition series with Prime Video.
