Thalapathy Vijay's 'Master' costarring Vijay Sethupathi as the villain has created a big record in Kollywood history with both box office collections and on OTT. In spite of the fifty percent occupancy in the first three weeks of release the film has raked in over rupees 200 Crores and is continuing to draw crowds to theaters in spite of the film already streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Meanwhile a crucial deleted scene from 'Master' was released on Saturday evening which went viral and continues to trend high on the internet. The scene has Vijay leading his student Savitha played by Gauri Kishan to the college principal office where her parents and male students are in negotiations over sexual abuse they meted out towards Savitha.

Vijay then beats up the boys and forces them to confess their sexual abuse and he also lectures the gathering on how important sex education, bad and good touch is necessary in the education system. Those who watched the scene considering the important message contained in it are wondering why the filmmakers deleted such a crucial scene.
Film enthusiasts have dissected the deleted 'Master' scene and have concluded that '96' actress Gouri Kishan playing Savitha is seen chuckling when Vijay is seriously delivering his powerful message. Obviously Lokesh Kanagaraj had to do away the scene in the final cut but netizens have at least got to witness the Thalapathy's powerful performance.

'Master' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is produced by XB Film Creators and Seven Screen Studios with music by Anirudh, cinematography by Sathyan Sooryan and editing by Philomin Raj.
