Manchu Vishnu's highly ambitious project is back in the news now. The film is titled Kannappa and the movie's release date is finally locked. The team officially confirmed today that it will hit the screens on the 25th of April next year.

The devotional action drama was shot mainly in New Zealand. The team shot the film for a long time and are now busy with the post-production works. The team is taking extreme care in finishing the film and bring it on time. The movie was supposed to hit the screens this year but it did not happen due to several reasons.

The film also features Prabhas, Mohan Babu, Akshay Kumar, Madhoo, Mohanlal, Kajal Aggarwal, Mukesh Rushi and others.

The movie's teaser was earlier launched at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. The team hopes to bring a lot of attention to the film, during the release time. Preity Mukundhan plays Vishnu’s romantic interest. Mukesh Kumar Singh, who directed the famous mythological show Mahabharat that aired on Star Plus, is helming this flick.
