Now, the latest buzz is that Vijay Sethupathi is all set for his first South Indian web series. According to sources, Disney Plus Hotstar has come on board for this South Indian web series starring Vijay Sethupathi, to be directed by Manikandan. It is touted to be the costliest web series from South India.

Notably, Vijay Sethupathi worked with Manikandan earlier in 'Aandavan Kattalai' and 'Kadaisi Vivasayi'. The filmmaker is also known for making highly acclaimed films like 'Kakka Muttai' and 'Kuttrame Thandanai'. On the work front, VJS starrer 'DSP' is slated to be released in December and the actor is sharing screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in 'Jawan'.
