Mahesh in intelligence officer’s role

There has been much speculation about Mahesh Babu's role in AR Murugadoss' next.  Early on, it was said that Mahesh will be playing a RAW agent in the movie.  Later on, it was said that he will be playing a gutsy cop's role. The other day, it was reported that music director Harris Jayaraj revealed Mahesh's role to be that of a cop in the movie.

However, confusion still persists.  Unnamed sources quoted from Chennai, where the film is being shot at present, suggest that Mahesh is playing an intelligence officer, not a "regular cop", in the Rs. 100 cr-budgeted movie.

Mahesh won't sport a khaki – unlike in his previous outings, namely 'Pokiri', 'Dookudu', and 'Aagadu' in this one.

The film is currently being shot in EVP World, an amusement park in Chennai.
