Two men film woman in bathroom at COVID-19 quarantine centre, arrested

A woman has alleged that two men had captured an obscene video of her in the bathroom at a quarantine centre in the Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh.

According to a report by a news agency, two cousin sisters had just returned from Indore to their native Sagar district and were quarantined at the quarantine center in Kumeria Bhatoli village under Garhakota police station. The women approached the police the next day to register a complaint against two men had apparently recorded one of them in the bathroom at the facility and sent the same video to them, threatening to leak the clip on social media if they didn’t meet the men at their location the next day. “The matter was reported to us after which, a case was registered against the accused under Sections 354 of IPC and also provisions of the Information and Technology Act,” the Sagar district police superintendent mentioned to the news agency.

The two accused, identified as Sunil Ladiya and Laxman Ladiya, have been arrested by the Garhakota police and remanded in judicial custody. “We have seized the cell-phone, which will be sent for forensic examination,” the police reportedly further added.
