Actor Madhavan was last seen playing the lead in the multistarrer blockbuster Vikram Vedha co-starring Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi and the actor had since then been working on his next, Rocketry the Nambi effect which is also the maiden directorial venture of the actor, after Anant Mahadevan who was supposed to direct had quit the project.

With the Lok Sabha election results favoring BJP, Madhavan has tweeted "Time coming up to very quickly put the campaign and results aside and work together and surge ahead as a Nation. The people have spoken. The results are emerging-But the thing is-we have to work together now.. to Get India the glory she so richly deserves. Jai Hind."

Madhavan's next, Rocketry the Nambi effect will have him playing former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan, who was falsely accused in a spying case, and was released much later after the investigations revealed the truths. Madhavan is currently gearing up for the final schedule of the movie in Paris.
