It has been less than a month since VK Naresh took over the Presidentship of Movie Artists Association. The new President and his team, which also includes Dr. Rajasekhar (Executive Vice President) and Jeevitha Rajasekhar (General Secretary), have unveiled a list of resolutions after holding consultations with the newly-formed Executive Committee.

Here is the list of resolutions undertaken:

HelpLine and Suggestion Box: From 17-4-2019, a helpline is an initiative in order to help MAA members during emergency cases. The contact number is 9502030405

Suggestion Box: MAA members can drop their grievances in this box and MAA committee will look after them.

Discussion about ex-gratia: From 1-4-2019, the amount is enhanced by Rs 1000/-. This enhancement is for the medical expenses.

Discussion about linking government welfare schemes: The Committee will sending separate letters to all MAA members in connection with Government schemes such as housing, pension, health, education, MAA Kalyana Lakshmi and others.

Review of MAA Membership: Rs 25,000 for the Gold Card membership. They will be considered as associate members and are eligible to attend free Medical camps.

SBI LIC for MAA Members: The coverage has been enhanced to the extent of Rs 1 Lakh that is from Rs 2 Lakh, it was increased to Rs 3 Lakh. This is for both accidental and natural death policy.
