Thalapathy 67 updates have started rolling long back unofficially. Now, the members of the cast and crew have started sharing authentic information about the most-awaited film. Few actors have confirmed their presence in the project and director Lokesh Kanagaraj confirmed that the film will be formally announced on February first week.
Lokesh Kanagaraj attended the promotional event of his production venture 'Michael' in the PSG College, where he did his studies. He addressed the students and also interacted with an entertainment portal sharing super updates from Michael and Thalapathy 67. The hitmaker reacted to some memes about Thalapathy 67 during the interaction.
In one of the memes, the fans had expressed their wish to see Vijay, Kamal Haasan, Suriya and Karthi together on screen in the LCU. Lokesh responded, "I wish the same as well. Everyone will want to do something like that. If my universe is gonna end, it'll end like that. But it'll take time to happen." This news went viral and fans are on cloud nine as Lokesh indirectly confirmed that Thalapathy 67 will come under the LCU.
Thalapathy 67 is produced by Seven Screen Studio with music by Anirudh. The makers have shot small portions in Chennai and Kodaikanal. The major shooting will commence at Kashmir on February 1. Reportedly, the film's star cast comprises Thalapathy Vijay, Trisha, Chiyaan Vikram, Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Nivin Pauly, Rakshit Shetty, Mysskin, Gautham Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Bigg Boss Janani with Kamal Haasan appearing in a cameo role.
