This Friday, Nandamuri Balakrishna is going to be put to a difficult test.  This is going to be one of the most challenging outings for him at the box-office. 'Ruler' is coming amidst heavy competition and at a time when Balayya's commercial appeal is apparently at an all-time low.

A trade report says that 'Ruler' will need to earn Rs 22 Cr (share) to achieve break-even.  This is more than the combined figure of 'NTR: Kathanayakudu' and 'NTR: Mahanayakudu'.  

Directed by KS Ravikumar, the film has to stave off the might of 'Prati Roju Pandage' and 'Dabangg 3'.  Karthi's 'Donga' might surprise the trade circles if its content is strong.  

'Ruler' stars Sonal Chauhan, Vedhika, Prakash Raj and Bhumika Chawla in glamorous/positive roles.
