Actor and director Raghava Lawrence is currently getting ready with his next release Muni 4 / Kanchana 3, the fourth installment in his horror comedy series, produced by Sun Pictures and also starring Oviya, Vedhika, Nikki Tamboli.

The director, on the other hand is also ready to debut in Bollywood, as he will be directing the remake of his 2011 horror hit Kanchana that starred himself and Raai Laxmi alongside Sarathkumar who had a pivotal role. The Bollywood version will star Akshay Kumar in lead role.

Now it has been revealed that Kiara Advani, who had starred in MS Dhoni The Untold Story as Sakshi Dhoni, and recently starred in Mahesh Babu's Bharat Ane Nenu, will be roped in to play the female lead opposite Akshay Kumar. This will be her second movie with Akshay kumar after Good News, that also stars Kareena Kapoor. The movie will have references of both Muni as well as Kanchana and will begin shooting from April.
