‘Khakee’: Seeing the end of a twisted case

While cop dramas have come by dime a dozen, 'Khakee' claims to be a different ball game altogether.  Touted to be a slice-of-life crime-action drama, it has Karthi in the role of a gutsy 

The cops probe into a series of criminal incidents that took place between 1995-2005.  Talking about the premise, director H Vinoth says, "It was a very sensational case and cops took 10 years to crack it."  

The trailer presents enough reason to believe that Karthi's character is out to crack one of the most complicated cases.  The writers have penned a gripping screenplay, the makers promise.  

As for the love track, Rakul Preet and her co-star are going to be at their wit's end.  Ghibran's music and the lilting dialogues will do the rest. 

Set for a huge release this Friday (Nov 17), the much-awaited film has been produced by Umesh Gupta and Subhash Gupta of Aditya Music Pvt Ltd.
