Bharat is one of the young heroes who has all the talents and skills necessary for an actor in Tamil cinema and is also a favorite with the female section of the fans. His recent movies have not seen much success at the box office but he is said to be on the right footing in choosing a few weighty scripts that would announce his re-arrival to the limelight.

'Kalidas' has Bharath playing a cop for the first time in his career with Iniya as his pair and Jackie Shroff, Suresh Chandra Menon and Mottai Rajendran in other important roles. Vishal Chandrasekhar scores the music, Loganathan Srinivasan handles the camera and Bhuvan Srinivasan the editing.
