‘Jigarthanda Double X’ is a sequel to director Karthik Subbaraj’s highly acclaimed blockbuster film of 2014. The second part marked the maker’s theatrical comeback after 2019 and went on to be a delightful cinema experience with critical and commercial success.
SJ Suryah and Raghava Lawrence are the lead stars of Jigarthanda Double X. Their performances as a spy disguised as a filmmaker and a gangster trying to be a hero won the hearts of the audiences. Karthik Subbaraj is back in his zone with compelling characters and convincing plotlines. The film was released on Diwali (November 10) and became a bumper hit.
Now, the streaming giant Netflix is all set to bring Jigarthanda Double X for its OTT premiere on December 8th. The official announcement regarding the same was made with a stunning poster today. The movie will be premiered in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. Also, it will be streaming in English very soon. Fans are eagerly waiting for this flick’s digital debut.
The film features SJ Suryah, Raghava Lawrence, Nimiasha Sajayan, Shine Tom Chacko, Ilavarasu, Naveen Chandra, Sathyan, Aravind Aakash, Vidhu, Sanchana Natrajan and many others. Jigarthanda Double X has music composed by Santhosh Narayanan, cinematography handled by Tirru and editing by Shafique Mohamed Ali.
