After the success of 'Ponniyin Selvan 2', actor Karthi is coming back with his new film 'Japan', which is preparing for a grand Diwali release. Now, the actor has met with his fans amid the film's shooting and the pictures from the spot are doing rounds on the internet. The filming of Japan kicked off in Tamil Nadu last year.

Now, the shoot for the entire movie has been completed except for a song. The makers are currently shooting the song in Kashmir under Sandy master choreography. A photo of Karthi posing with his fans in Kashmir is rocking the social media. Japan is on track for the Diwali 2023 release. Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, the post-production work will begin once the team wraps up this song.

Japan marks the 25th film of Karthi, in which he plays the titular role of a thief. It boasts a prominent star cast including Anu Emmanuel, Sunil, Vijay Milton, Vaagai Chandrasekhar and many others. GV Prakash is composing the musical score for the flick with cinematography by Ravi Varman, editing by Philomin Raj and stunts by Anl Arasu.
