Shah Rukh Khan has not only made a strong comeback with his latest film 'Pathaan' but has also revived the Bollywood film industry which was reeling under the dominance of South blockbusters such as 'KGF2', 'RRR', 'Pushpa', 'Kantara', 'Ponniyin Selvan' etc. The spy thriller directed by Siddharth Anand and costarring Deepika Padukone has collected more than Rs.700 crores worldwide.

Meanwhile on the release day of 'Pathaan' Kamal Haasan showed solidarity towards it amidest political controversies. He wrote on Twitter "Hearing great reports about Pathan. Saket congratulates Pathan. Way to go brother @iamsrk". The thespian was referring to the characters that they played respectively in the critically acclaimed classic 'Hey Ram'.

Earlier today, Kamal watched 'Pathaan' with his niece and popular actress Suhasini at a special screening. Popular 80s actresses Shobhana and Jayashree also attended the show and the Ulaganayagan posed for photographs with them that went viral. Shobhana has paired with Kamal Haasan in the 1984 action movie 'Enakkul Oruvan'.

Kamal is currently shooting for 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar which is expected to wrap in a couple of months time. He will soon start shooting for 'KH233' directed by H. Vinoth and move on to his 234th film to be directed by Mani Ratnam.
