Gautham Vasudev Menon is one of the renowned directors in the Tamil industry who is best known for his stylish filmmaking sense. Simbu and Siddhi Idnani are playing the lead pair in GVM's next film 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu', which is gearing up for a September 15 release.

The director is now taking part in interviews ahead of the film's release as a part of the promotions. Gautham Menon opened up about the most-anticipated 'Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu 2' in a recent interview with Vikratan. He said, "The script is getting ready. I talked to Kamal sir about it for 45 minutes before the lockdown. He told me to develop it. Now, they have given me time to tell the story. I am confident that I can narrate a perfect full length story. I want to do the film in the middle of next year."

'Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu' is a highly acclaimed film in Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's filmography, directed by his ardent fanboy Gautham Menon. In 2020, GVM confirmed that he has plans for 'Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu 2'. Kamal recently starred in 'Vikram', the spin-off to his 1986 film, directed by his fanboy Lokesh Kanagaraj. The legendary actor will resume shooting for his other sequel 'Indian 2' in September.
