Kamal Haasan’s sudden decision to act in his ‘Chanakyan’ director’s next

There have been contradicting reports from different sections of the press regarding Kamal Haasan's next after ‘Thoongavanam’ with some saying that it’s directed by Mouli for Thirupathi Brothers while others maintaining that Kamal himself is going to direct his long pending script ‘Thalaivan Irukiraan’.

The latest buzz however suggests that the Ulaganayagan will immediately start shooting for a Tamil/Malayalam bilingual to be directed by T.K Rajeev Kumar who earlier directed Kamal in the Malayalam thriller ‘Chanakyan’ in 1989 which is highly regarded as classic gem for its stylish narration that was way ahead of its time.
