‘Kaasi’: First 7 mins trigger curiosity

It takes a lot of conviction to reveal a good seven minutes of your film.  The makers of ‘Kaasi’ have proved they have it.  

Premise-wise, the film triggers a fair amount of interest in the movie.  It’s easily about the journey of Dr. Bharath (Vijay Antony), an accomplished surgeon in the US, into his past.  He meets his past.  Will it be pleasant?  Will it be unpleasant?  How will he face it?  Questions like these occupy the audience’s mind space.

Vijay Antony’s movies have a solid storyline.  And they eschew typical ideas.  The songs, the teaser and the trailer of ‘Kaasi’ let us presume that the actor will keep his track record uncorrupted.   

Bhasya Sree’s sensible dialogues and Vijay Antony’s dramatic music, rustic flavour and natural comedy – we are expecting them all.   

Directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, the emotional caper also features Anjali, Sunainaa, Nasser, Shilpa, Amritha, Yogi Babu, RK Suresh, Vela Ramamurthy, and Jayaprakash are part of the cast.
