K. Balachanders wife Rajam Balachander passes away

Rajam Balachander wife of the late legendary director K. Balachander passed away today in the early morning at 4.30 am due to age-related ailments. She was 82 and her remains will be cremated today at 3 pm. Her daughter Pushpa Thangadurai is heading Kavithalaya Productions.

Rajam Balachander is known to have been a source of strong support to K. Balachander in his journey as one of India's most celebrated directors ever. Kollywood celebrities are pouring tributes to the departed soul.
