Jayam Ravi’s next after ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ to be released by Udhayanidhi Stalin?

Jayam Ravi is a talented Tamil actor. He recently announced a new film and is currently busy juggling multiple projects. One of his upcoming films is ‘Agilan’ for which he merged forces with director N Kalyana Krishnan again after ‘Bhooloham’. The movie is produced by Screen Scene Media Entertainment. 

Initially, the film was expected to hit the screens on September 12 but the plans were changed later. Sources say that the makers are planning to release ‘Agilan’ on November 11. It is also being reported that Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies has bagged the theatrical distribution rights of the movie. The official announcement regarding the release date is yet to be made. 

‘Agilan’ has Priya Bhavani Shankar and Tanya Ravichandran as the leading ladies. Jayam Ravi plays a gangster while Priya Bhavani Shankar appears as a police officer. This movie will explore the underworld of smugglers operating around the North Madras seaport. Sam CS scores the music for the film while the cinematography is handled by Vivek. 

On the work front, Jayam Ravi will be seen in the titular role in Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan 1’. The actor also has ‘Jana Gana Mana’ and ‘Iraivan’ with director Ahmed, ‘Siren’ opposite Keerthy Suresh and an untitled movie with director M Rajesh.
