The buzz in the industry is that YS Jagan will be seen as himself in 'Yatra', a biopic on YS Rajasekhara Reddy. Writer-director Mahi V Raghav is tight-lipped about the alleged presence of the YSRCP chief in the movie, but there are reasons to believe that Jagan will indeed be seen in a cameo in the political drama.

For one, we don't know which actor has played Jagan's role in 'Yatra'. So, for want of information, it may be assumed that Jagan himself has done the part. For another, it will politically help him to be a part of a movie about his father's legacy.

Maybe, Jagan will be seen towards the end of the movie. Maybe, Jagan shows himself as the perfect foil for the forces who "failed" to take the baton forward for farmers' good.

If Jagan is indeed present in the movie, 'Yatra' will officially be a propaganda movie. On the bright side, the makers may benefit from increased footfalls. If Mammootty and the YSR charisma fail to draw the crowds, Jagan may prove to be the saving grace. Who knows?
