The blockbuster duo of Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and director Shankar joined after two decades for 'Indian 2'. The vigilante entertainer hit the screens last Friday, with mixed reviews from the audiences. We previously reported that the makers are considering chopping a few minutes after the people's feedback regarding the lengthy runtime.

Now, Lyca Productions officially announced that the movie has been trimmed and the new content will be available in theatres from today. They wrote, "Witness the enhanced version of #Indian2 Now presenting a streamlined edition trimmed by 12 min. Catch it in cinemas near you for a crisper experience! (sic)." The trimmed version will be around 2 hours and 48 minutes.

'Indian 2' marks the return of the freedom fighter turned vigilante Senapathy to fight corruption and capitalism in the country. With music by Anirudh, the film boasts an impressive cast including Kamal Haasan, Siddharth, Bobby Simha, SJ Suryah, Rakul Preet, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Nedumudi Venu, Manobala, Jegan, Vivek, Samuthirakani and others.
