As the filming of Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2, the sequel to 1996 blockbuster Indian directed by Shankar, started on January 18, fans have been anticipating updates regarding the movie at regular intervals.

Although the news has not been made official yet, it is highly likely that actor Arya would be joining the Indian 2 team. His cryptic ‘wink emoji’ reply to a question regarding his addition to the movie has aroused speculations among people in social media. A confirmation on the same is awaited.

Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, Indian 2 also stars Kajal Aggarwal in the lead. Simbu, who was supposed to do a role in the movie, has been replaced by Siddharth, according to reports. Anirudh will be composing the soundtrack of the film, while Ravi Varma will be handling the camera. An official announcement of the complete cast and crew is yet to be made.
