We all know that Ilayathalapathy Vijay is playing triple roles in his 61st film directed by Atlee. The second schedule of shooting of this film is presently taking place in ECR, Chennai.

In the first schedule the 1980s period portions of the film were canned. Vijay plays a rural leader in these portions.

it is said that another character of Vijay will also sport a rural man's look in the film. However the getup is yet to be finalized. The third character of Vijay will have the look of a stylish youngster.

The portions of this stylish character of Vijay will be shot in the locations in the UK and USA.

After completing the ongoing schedule in Chennai, the 'Thalapathy 61' crew will take a break and head to the UK for the next schedule. After that they will move to the USA.

'Thalapathy 61' is being produced by Sri Thenandal Films and it has Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal and Nithya Menen as female leads. Isaipuyal A.R.Rahman is the music director of this film.
