It has been rumoured that Raashi Khanna has made negative comments about the attitude of the media and cine-goers down South. She has been misquoted as saying that Southern media calls heroines dolls, milky beauties and all. The fact is that Raashi never made those comments. Some rumour-monger floated fictitious quotes that started doing the rounds on the Internet. A few sections of media picked up those imaginary statements.
On Wednesday, Raashi made it clear that she has immense respect for South India. "Some fabricated and misconstrued content about me bad-mouthing south films is doing the rounds on social media. I request whoever has been doing it to please stop. I have utmost respect towards each and every language/film that I do. Let's be kind," she wrote.
On the work front, Raashi is doing Naga Chaitanya's 'Thank You', which is directed by Vikram K Kumar. She will also be seen in Gopichand's 'Pakka Commercial', which is directed by Maruthi. Recently, Raashi was seen in the Hindi-language Disney+Hotstar outing 'Rudra'.
