After months of intense action, emotional depth, and cinematic scale, Hrithik Roshan has officially wrapped up filming for War 2, one of the most eagerly awaited Indian films of 2025. The actor took to social media to share a raw and heartfelt note, giving fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse into what it took to reprise his iconic role as Kabir.
“149 days of shoot. Relentless chase. Action, dance, blood, sweat, injuries… the works. But worth it!” Hrithik wrote in a post that immediately struck a chord with fans across the globe.
In his message, Hrithik extended special thanks to his co-stars — NTR Jr., who plays a key role in the sequel, and Kiara Advani, whose performance he teased as “lethal.”
“NTR sir, it has been an honor,” Hrithik tweeted. “Kiara – so excited for the world to witness the lethal side of you.”
The actor also acknowledged director Ayan Mukerji and producer Aditya Chopra, calling them the “visionaries” who shaped this much-anticipated sequel into a cinematic spectacle.
What made the message even more emotional was Hrithik’s farewell to the character of Kabir, which he described as “bitter-sweet.”
“Will need a few days to get out of Kabir’s head. Until then, hello from a bruised and battered but incredibly fulfilled me.”
War 2, which also stars Jr. NTR and Kiara Advani, is set to hit theaters worldwide on August 14, 2025. With Hrithik’s emotionally charged post and the ensemble behind it, the film promises to be a perfect blend of style, scale, and soul.
