'Kaabil', to be released as 'Balam' in Telugu, will reportedly be a big release in the Telugu States. As per a media report, the makers are looking at cashing in on Hrithik Roshan's craze in this part of South India by releasing it big-time. Directed by Sanjay Gupta, the film is set for a worldwide release on January 25.
The fact that there are no big competitors coming (with even Venkatesh's 'Guru' getting postponed to first week of April) this season has only come as good news for the Telugu version. As reported already, the confident makers have even held a screening for distributors.
Produced by Rakesh Roshan, this is yet another film in the father-son combo, 'Krrish', 'Krrish3', 'Koi Milgaya', 'Kaho Na Pyar Hai' being the previous ones. Thus, expectations from the new film are naturally high. Rajesh Roshan is the music director. Sudeep Chatterjee and Ayananka Bose are the cinematographers.
