Actor Simbu had acted in dual roles for the first time in 2004 in the movie Manmadhan, which was directed by debutant A.Jay Muruhan. The movie alkso had script by Simbu, and had him playing dual roles as brothers, and Jyothika and Sindhu Tolani also as a part of the movie.

Popular Bollywood actress and TV show host Mandira Bedi, who had been popular for hosting Extraa Innings during the 2003 cricket Worldcup made her debut in Tamil with Manmadhan, where she played a doctor and next she will be returning to Tamil with GV Prakash's Adangathey.

The 47 year old actress has always been a fitness conscious person, and regularly posts photos of her toned physique on her social media account, which has inspired many to stay fit. Few days back, the actress had posted a glamorous workout video, which has become an instant hit and has turned viral.
