Honda has introduced an electric scooter for sales with only one seat. The company has removed the back seat and made this single-seater Honda U-BE to increase its range. Apart from this, this model is like every other electric scooter. Indian roads will be ruled by e-scooters in the forthcoming future.

The leading automobile companies are launching new e-vehicles every day. While the startup company Ather has succeeded with their 450x model and Ola has launched the S1 series on August 15, Honda has introduced with their brand-new models U-GO and the single-seater U-BE in the Chinese market.

They were introduced by Honda's other branch 'Wuyang Honda'. This branch is a dedicated specialised part of Honda. Among the two models, Honda U-BE has attracted many pairs of eyes. Only one person can travel in this one-seater, the company has removed the back seat to provide more range. Also, it has more width in the front portion. We get more baggage due to this design.

Honda U-BE also has features like a stylish digital instrument console, anti-theft key lock, USB port. This e-scooter comes with 3 different battery packs: 48V-15Ah, 48V-20Ah and 48V-24Ah. The mileage varies according to the battery pack as 50km, 70km and 85km respectively. The total weight is only 54 kgs and the maximum speed is 25km/hr. Honda U-BE is modeled for the city users.

The scooter utilizes a high-efficiency motor that is low on noise and power consumption. There is no clear view on when Honda will launch this model in India. This e-scooter is priced at ₹91,000 in China. Meanwhile, the other model Honda U-GO comes with a passenger seat and a mileage of 133km (with an additional secondary battery).
