Harris Jayaraj one of the leading music composers in South India has entered the multiplex business by taking over the GV Studio City in Thanjavur. There are five screens and the late producer GV bought the complex from legendary actor Sivaji Ganesan who initially named it Shanthi Complex. It is still unknown whether Harris will change the name or run the multiplex in the same name which is very popular is very popular among the city residents.
On the professional front Harris Jayaraj is scoring the music for Vikram's 'Dhruva Natchathiram' directed by Gautham Menon, 'Dev' starring Karthi and Karthick and the mega multistarrer 'Suriya 37' directed by K.V. Anand and starring Mohan Lal, Suriya and Arya.
