Director Mohan Raja's 'GodFather', which hit the screens on October 5, is in the news for not only grossing more than one billion rupees at the worldwide box office but also for grossing 1.1 million USD at the US box office.

The first film of Megastar Chiranjeevi to become a million-dollar movie in the US is his comeback film 'Khaidi No. 150' in the year 2017. He followed it up with another roaring success in the form of 'Sye Raa' in 2019.

Meanwhile, the film's Hindi business in the domestic market stands at about Rs 6 Cr in Nett. terms.

The film, directed by Mohan Raja, is going to hit the screens in Tamil on October 14. Since 'Ponniyin Selvan-I' has been going strong there, the makers didn't release the political actioner in Tamil on October 5. 'GodFather' is expected to min good monies, considering the popularity of not just Chiru but also Nayanthara in Tamil Nadu.
