First Look: Satyadev Transforms into an Ageing Royal in ‘Rao Bahadur’

Actor Satyadev is set to collaborate once again with acclaimed filmmaker Venkatesh Maha for their latest cinematic venture, Rao Bahadur. The first-look poster, unveiled today, introduces Satyadev in a striking new avatar — that of an ageing royal, exuding dignity while carrying the weight of decline.

Billed as a psychological drama rooted in the backdrop of a fading aristocracy, Rao Bahadur promises a compelling narrative that blends grandeur with decay, and emotional depth with a sense of internal conflict. The visuals suggest a film rich in both opulence and haunting introspection.

This marks a reunion for the duo after their work on Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya. Venkatesh Maha, who made a stunning debut with the critically acclaimed C/O Kancherapalem, is now helming this ambitious project.

Adding to the film’s prestige, GMB Entertainment — headed by Superstar Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar — is presenting the project. Production is being handled jointly by A+S Movies, known for co-producing Major, and *SriChakraas Entertainments.

Satyadev, fresh from his appreciated performance as a brother in Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom, is expected to bring a layered intensity to this new role, making Rao Bahadur one of the most anticipated dramas in his career.
