England cricketer Stuart Broad gets engaged to girlfriend

England fast bowler Stuart Broad is engaged to singer Mollie King and the couple announced the news on social media on New Year’s day.

Sharing a picture of her kissing the English cricketer and flaunting her engagement ring, Mollie King wrote on Instagram, “A thousand times yes! I still can’t believe it, the most magical start to the new year! I can’t wait to spend all my years with you @stuartbroad.” Meanwhile, Stuart Broad shared the same picture and posted, “The best way to start 2021.” Stuart Broad and Mollie King began dating in March 2018. The couple, however, broke up in August that year. A month later, they revealed that they had gotten back together and decided to give their love a second chance. When Stuart Broad recently travelled to Sri Lanka to play for England, Mollie King spoke about being anxious over his trip and mentioned that she would miss him.

“So it’s 2021! If you’re anything like me you might be going into this year feeling a bit anxious and uncertain. I often get the January blues and this year is going to be especially tough with everything that’s going on. @stuartbroad also goes away tomorrow with cricket which is always a mix of feeling excited for him but knowing I’m going to miss him so much,” Mollie wrote on Instagram.
