Director who worked on the script for 3 years

Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavaada is a romantic thriller starring Nikhil Siddarth, Hebah Patel and Nandita Shweta in the lead roles.  Saying that the film's story is an original idea, the director VI Anand of Tiger fame has said that he had written the story three years ago and since then, he has constantly improved it.

If the caption 'You cannot escape love' makes us wonder if it is surreal, the director says that "it’s inspired from incidents in colleagues’ lives."

Nikhil, who has delivered three back-to-back hits – Swamy Ra Ra, Karthikeya and Surya Vs Surya – was his first choice for the hero's role.

If you take a close look at the poster, you can notice a spirit captured in a bottle tied up with amulets and rudrakshas, all of which leaves us to assume that the story involves a love story mixed up with horror and thrilling elements, thereby justifying  the above tagline.
