As we all know director Shakti Soundar Rajan will be teaming up with his 'Miruthan' actor Jayam Ravi for a new film to be produced by J.Selvakumar of Kenanya Films.

We had reported yesterday that the film will be an action flick and the shooting will begin in the month of July.

Now the director himself has confirmed in his interview to a National English Daily that the shooting will begin from July. He has also revealed that this film will be a grand project and the most expensive film in Ravi's career. The budget has been planned to gross approximately Rs.35 crores. The film will also have a novel content.

Shakti has also clarified that this will not be the sequel to 'Miruthan'. He said he will take up 'Miruthan 2' only after completing two other movies which means it will take at least two years for the sequel to star rolling.
