Director Mari Selvaraj’s highly acclaimed film is remade in Hindi by Karan Johar?

Mari Selvaraj is one of the highly acclaimed directors in Tamil cinema. He entered the film industry with the path-breaking film, ‘Pariyerum Perumal’, which talks about caste discrimination in educational institutes. The latest is that this super hit film is being remade in Hindi by popular Bollywood maker Karan Johar.

The Hindi remake of ‘Pariyerum Perumal’ is titled ‘Dhadak 2’. The film’s first-look video made its debut yesterday. Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri are playing the lead roles in this upcoming flick. Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions produced this movie along with Zee Studios and Cloud 9 Pictures. This is now going viral on the internet.

‘Dhadak 2’ directed by Shazia Iqbal is coming to cinemas on November 22, 2024. The film’s motion poster features Siddhant and Triptii holding each other in love with an intense romantic dialogue in the background. Earlier, ‘Dhadak 1’ was a remake of the acclaimed Marathi film ‘Sairat’, which is based on the theme of honour killings.
