Actor Jayam Ravi, who had last scored a hit with debutant Pradeep Ranganathan's Comali is currently working on two movies, his 25th movie JR 25 directed by Romeo Juliet and Bogan director Lakshman, and another movie directed by Ahmed.

The movie directed by Ahmed who had earlier made Endrendrum Punnagai and Manithan has been said to be titled Jana Gana Mana, and is being shot in Azerbaijan. The movie also stars Taapsee Pannu, Rahman, Elnaz Norouzi, Dayana Erappa, MS Bhaskar and KGF Ramachandra.

There were rumours that Jana Gana Mana is the remake of 2015 Bollywood movie Baby starring Akshay Kumar and Taapsee, but the director Ahmed has clarified in a recent interview that this movie is not the remake of Baby and is an original script which is a spy thriller with lots of action.
