Veteran director Bharathiraja launched his dream project 'Kutraparambarai' a few months ago with a huge fanfare. However the shooting is yet to begin,

Now we learn that Bhrathiraja has postponed his dream project and will be directing another film which will be a love story with two heroes. Talks are underway with director Vasanth's son Ritvik Varun and actor Vikram's nephew to play the lead roles in the film. Heroines and other cast and crew members are being finalized and the official announcement on the project will be made once the main cast is on board.

It was earlier rumored that this will be a sequel to the Iyakkunar Imayam's 1981 classic blockbuster romance flick 'Alaigal Oivadhillai', sources close to him have refuted the same. This is a dual hero subject and it will be a new film.

As an actor Bharathiraja has completed shooting for the film 'Om' in which he plays the lead role.
