Dhruv Vikram’s Bison Kaalamaadan, directed by Mari Selvaraj, hit theatres on October 17, 2025. The film opened to strong word-of-mouth in Tamil Nadu, while its reception in the Telugu states remained modest, drawing average responses without major highs or lows.

The film is now back in the spotlight with its digital release. Netflix has officially announced that Bison Kaalamaadan will begin streaming on November 21, 2025. Unlike the theatrical rollout, the OTT release will be more expansive, arriving in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam—significantly widening the film’s reach.
