Dhanush is one Tamil actor who, after doing 'Shamitabh' and 'Ranjhanaa' in Hindi, has been roped in for a Hollywood movie. The film is 'The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir' directed by Ken Scott.

The news is that, as per 'Variety' (a magazine), the film is a hot proposition in the international market even before its American business has been sealed. Sony Pictures Releasing International has grabbed the rights for UK and France and other territories where the film has already been sold out are Italy, Spain, Australia, Japan, Poland, Greece, Israel, Turkey, Portugal, Czech Republic, Slovakia and the Middle East.

"As an individual, I want to improve the pre-production part in our industry. The way they (Hollywoodians) plan their pre-production is very precise and thorough. They decide what an actor is going to wear, the color of it and the color of the background six months before they are on the sets. It's that precise. This is what I learned from them," Dhanush recently said in an interview.

Also starring Bernice Bejo, Barkhad Abdi, Abel Jafri and Erin Moriarty in the cast, the comedy-adventure is expected to release worldwide in Summer 2018.
