The buzz is that Dhanush has been approached to play the chief antagonist opposite Ajith Kumar in his next ‘AK 62’. The film is directed by Vignesh Shivan and reportedly has Nayanthara as the female lead.
If the deal goes through then fans will get to see two of the most charismatic stars in Indian cinema locking horns. The character is said to be deadly much like the one Dhanush played in his Hollywood biggie ‘The Gray Man’. The box office will sure fire up like never before considering the universal appeal of AK and D. Lets wait for the official word which is expected much sooner than later.
Dhanush is currently shooting for the magnum opus ‘Captain Miller’ directed by Arun Matheshwaran in which Priyanka Arul Mohan is playing is pair while Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar and Sundeep Kisham play important characters. His next release in the first quarter of 2023 will be ‘Vaathi/Sir’ directed by Venky Atluri.
Ajith Kumar fans meanwhile have their undivided attention on his upcoming biggie ‘Thunivu’ set to release on Pongal 2023. The film directed by H. Vinoth is produced by Boney Kapoor with Ghibran scoring the music. The film stars Ajith, Manju Warrier, John Kokken, Pavni, Amir, Cibi and Samuthirakani.
