Dhanush’s heroine onboard Ponniyin Selvan?

It’s a known fact that director Maniratnam, who had last gave Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, the multistarrer movie which was a superhit, is all set to begin his next, which is again a multistarrer Ponniyin Selvan. This movie will be based on Kalki’s novel of the same name.

While the team is busy with preproduction works there are various speculations on the cast of the movie, and it has been said that this movie will star Chiyaan Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Karthi, Jayam ravi, Keerthy Suresh, Amala Paul, Mohan Babu and many others.

Now as per latest speculations, Malayalam actress Aishwarya Lekshmi might be signed to play an important role in Ponniyin Selvan. Though no official clarification is out, it must be noted that recently Aishwarya Lekshmi was signed to play the female lead in Dhanush – Karthik Subbaraj movie.
