"We live to protect. We die to serve," thunders Aditya Arunachalam, Mumbai's top cop, in the Trailer for 'Darbar'. Superstar Rajinikanth raises 'dhummu, dhuli' in style in the power-packed Trailer.

Director AR Murugadoss puts on display his 'mass pulse' skills, once again. Rajini's character refers to himself as a villain, while a bit character extolls him as a murderer (to be taken as heroism). The legendary actor is a proud 'bad' cop in a movie whose antagonist (Suneil Shetty) is ruthless.

Not much is known about Suneil's character in this big-ticket entertainer. Suffice it to say that shoot-outs and gun battles are only to be expected.

Nayanthara makes a sparkling appearance, while Nivetha Thomas (playing Rajini's daughter) is absent. Also featuring Yogi Babu, Thambi Ramaiya, Sriman, Prateik Babbar, Jatin Sarna, Nawab Shah and Dalip Tahil, the film has some rousing music by Anirudh. Santosh Sivan and A Sreekar Prasad are top-class talent, lending cinematography and editing, respectively. Peter Hein has done the climax fight, while Ram-Lakshman have taken care of the rest.

The film will hit the screens for Sankranthi 2020.
