As anticipation for Peddi reaches fever pitch, the makers have now unveiled one of the film’s most powerful characters Gournaidu, played by Shiva Rajkumar. With just four days left for the much-awaited trailer launch on May 18, the buzz surrounding the film has skyrocketed once again.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Vriddhi Cinemas in association with Mythri Movie Makers, Peddi stars Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles. The film is scheduled for grand worldwide premieres on June 3, 2026, followed by its theatrical release on June 4, 2026.

The makers shared an intense BTS glimpse introducing Gournaidu, giving audiences a raw and rugged look into the world of Peddi. Sharing the video on social media, they wrote, “Gournaidu a.k.a Shiva Rajkumar garu Step into the raw world of PEDDI”.

Ever since its announcement, Peddi has emerged as one of the most anticipated Indian films of 2026. Every promotional asset released so far has struck a chord with audiences. From the impactful teaser to chartbuster songs like “Chikiri Chikiri” and “Rai Rai Raa Raa,” the film has consistently raised expectations.

Music composed by A. R. Rahman has become a major highlight of the film’s campaign. “Chikiri Chikiri” crossed over 200 million views across platforms, while “Rai Rai Raa Raa” amassed more than 66 million YouTube views, further fueling excitement.
