‘D-16’ release date finalized

'D-16', the dubbed version of Tamil thriller 'Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru', will hit the screens on March 9.  The new-age, slick entertainer stars Rahman in the lead role.

Written and directed by debutante Karthick Naren, Rahman here is playing Inspector Deepak, who is embroiled in a series of murders that could have a psychopath, a sadist or a mere murderer behind them.  The motives could be more scarier than the murderer himself, as a dialogue goes.

The slick frames, the night effect, the trendy BGM – the film has them all.
